Many small pioneers, one after another, dig a path up through the same underground site.
Cut stone, moved rock and joined paths all stay for whoever comes next.
People below cook, carry food and rest. You can carry food halfway and let someone else finish.

What changed, in plain words. Posted as it happens.
Cave junctions are now smooth, real stone. You can dig them, carry them, and walk through them cleanly.
Residents now carry grain to the kitchen that actually needs it, and no longer get stuck fetching water.
Mineral gardens now grow in the cave, and water can be relayed hand to hand across the site.
Fetching and delivering food is now part of daily life, and you can change your route halfway.
Newcomers can now see what earlier players left unfinished, and safely pick it up.
BREAK became one long climb upward: everyone shares one world and changes the same stones.
